Supplier

Suppler can be associated with the location. Once a supplier is associated with the location, this location will be treated as the supplier location (Location for managing the other supplier's stock). The supplier location is mainly used for managing the child items provisioned to the supplier.
If an external manufacturing order is issued for the item with which [Supply method] is set as supplier (with provision)and the standard supplier is set to the one whom the supplier location is defined, the quantity required for provisioning child items is managed as follows. 1. Move the required quantity of the child items from the [Standard location (use)] to the supplier Location.
2. On the date the externally manufactured goods received entry is made, subtract the quantity of the child item which has been taken aside in the supplier location from the supplier location stock. Please note that the [Timing of provision (Ext. mfg. order)] setting of the Company Information screen will be ignored if the supplier location is defined for the supplier.
