Timing of provision (Ext. mfg. order)

This parameter sets the timing of provision which relates to available stock counting at the time of external manufacturing order. Following two options are available.

when goods are received
Tentative use reservation will be made internally when the external manufacturing order is registered. However the quantity of the child items used will be subtracted on the date the goods are received.

when order is placed
The quantity of the item used will be subtracted from the stock on the date the external manufacturing order is registered.

Please note that this setting will be ignored if the supplier location is defined for the supplier to which the external manufacturing order is placed to. In this case, the quantity of the stock to be used will be transferred to the supplier location on the date the external manufacturing order is placed. Also on the date [Show sales order] is made, the quantity used will be subtracted from the supplier location.
