[マスタ / Master Tables] #4683
All information related to customer, supplier, ship to contacts are to be registered in the Contact Master. Also Default Locations, Cut-off Date Settings and [Invoicing pattern] can be set here for each customer or supplier. It is possible to make a new entry with minimum information - such as [Contact code] and [Contact name].

[Contact Master] Screen Parameters

Parameter Description Input Method Mandatory
[New/Modify (Header)] Section
Contact code This is the unique code assigned for each contact. This code will be used throughout GENESISS to identify the contact. If this field appears in the VIEW OPTION, it means that this parameter can be used to filter records. Text Input Mandatory
Contact name Name of each contact can be defined here. This name does not have to be unique throughout GENESISS. If this field appears in the VIEW OPTION, it means that this parameter can be used to filter records. Text Input Mandatory
Contact type Choose the type of this contact. Following options are available.
  • supplier
    If this contact is a supplier, please choose this type.
  • customer
    If this contact is a customer, please choose this type.
  • consignee:
    If this contact is used only for the shipping address, choose this type.
  • Dropdown List Mandatory
    Last transaction date If [Contact type] of this contact is customer or consignee, it displays the date the last order was received. If it is supplier, displays the date on which the last order was made. Display Only Optional
    Hidden If this check box is turned on, this entity is treated as hidden, indicating that it is no longer in use. These hidden entity will not be listed in the box shown at the time of selecting the entity on each screen. However, it is still possible to specify the hidden entity by using [Item code] or [Contact code]. Check Box Optional
    Contact group 1-3 This is the contact group to which this item belongs to. Up to 3 contact groups can be associated to each contact. Dropdown List Optional
    Zip code This is the zip code of this contact. Text Input Optional
    Address 1 This is the address of this contact. two fields are prepared for supplying the address for each contact. Text Input Optional
    Address 2 This is the address of this contact. two fields are prepared for supplying the address for each contact. Text Input Optional
    Tel. This is the telephone number of this contact. Text Input Optional
    Fax. This is the fax. number of this contact. Text Input Optional
    E-Mail This is the e-mail address of this contact. Text Input Optional
    Staff (Own company) This is the name of the person in charge of this contact. Text Input Optional
    Contact remarks 1-5 Any remarks specific to this contact can be registered here. Text Input Optional
    Rounding This is the Rounding Method set for this contact. Please note that the existing data will not be affected even this parameter is changed. In order to reflect the change on the existing data, please re-register the entry through each respective screen. Dropdown List Mandatory
    Num. of digits below zero This is to set the number of digits to be displayed below zero. This parameter is used with the setting made at [Rounding]. Please note that the List Display Setting will take precedence in the list screen. Numeric Value Input Mandatory
    Transaction currency This is the currency used for the business transactions with this customer/supplier. This can be set in the Contact Master. Dropdown List Mandatory
    Template language Specify the language to be used for this contact. English templates available for this option are for the Delivery Sheet, the Invoice Sheet the Purchase Order Sheet. Please note that this setting will take effect only when the template with [日英切替] indication is chosen in the Template Setting screen. If other templates are chosen, the language used in the template will be Japanese at all times. Dropdown List Mandatory
    Cut-off date group This parameter is to be used for filtering clients in the Invoice Issuance (for Cut-Off Date Invoice) or in the Delivery Entry screen. Please note that the system does not issue Invoices automatically upon the date set by this setting. 31 indicates the end of month. Dropdown List Mandatory
    Inspection lead time Specify the lead time margin between the delivery date or the date of the goods received and the inspection date. By setting this parameter, the inspection date will be automatically calculated and displayed as default in each entry screen. The use of this parameter is convenient if the number of days between the delivery and the inspection for a certain customer is fixed. If the inspection date does not have to be specified, please leave this parameter blank. Numeric Value Input Optional
    Initial amount of accounts receivable This is the initial amount of the amount carried over. This amount will be used in the Invoice Issuance (for Cut-Off Date Invoice) screen. If [Invoicing pattern] is set to each time, this setting does not take effect even Invoice to: contact has been specified. (In this case, the balance of the Invoice to: contact will be used.) This field can be used if the initial balance of accounts receivable must be adjusted for some reasons. Please specify the amount in the currency specified by the [Transaction currency] .     Initial date of accounts receivable This is the date applied for the [Initial amount of accounts receivable]. Date Input Optional
    Template (Delivery sheet) This is the template sheet applied for generating the Delivery Sheet. Please note that this settings takes precedence over the setting made at the Select Template dialog box. Dropdown List Optional
    Template (Invoice) This is the template sheet applied for generating the Invoice sheet. Please note that this settings takes precedence over the setting made at the Select Template dialog box. Dropdown List Optional
    Tax unit category This parameter specifies the pattern for tax calculating unit and its display settings.

    Dropdown List Mandatory
    Invoice to Set this field if the orderer and the payer are different. If this parameter is specified, the amount sold to this contact will be charged to the specified contact. If payment settings are different between the orderer and the payer, the settings made at this parameter takes precedence, such as [Invoicing pattern], [Cut-off date group], [Balance of accounts receivable], [Collection cycle 1 (after x days)], [Collection cycle 2 (after x months)], [Collection cycle 2 (after x days)]. Settings for [Price adjustment rate] and various settings related to [Price adjustment rate group code], the orderer takes precedence. Extended Dropdown Box Optional
    Price adjustment rate By setting this field, default [Sales order unit price] displayed in the Sales Order Entry will be determined by multiplying this rate and [Standard sales unit price]. However, Customer Sales Price Master: [Customer sales price] takes precedence if defined. Numeric Value Input Optional
    Price adjustment rate group By setting this group, default [Sales order unit price] displayed in the Sales Order Entry screen will be determined by multiplying the [Price adjustment rate] of the selected group and [Sales order unit price]. However, Customer Sales Price Master: [Customer sales price] takes precedence if defined. Dropdown List Optional
    Invoicing pattern This is the invoicing pattern set for each customer.
  • cut-off date (no bal.)
    Account Balance will not be shown on the Invoice Sheet. Deposit with the date prior the cut-off date can be registered.
  • cut-off date (w. bal.)
    Total sales amount appears on the multiple Delivery Sheets issued within the period will be summarized in the one single Invoice Sheet. Account balance will be shown on the Invoice Sheet. Deposit with the date prior the cut-off date can be registered.
  • each time
    Invoice will be issued for each Delivery Sheet. Account balance will not be shown on the Invoice Sheet. Deposit entry can be made with the indication to each Invoice.
  • Dropdown List Mandatory
    Credit limit If specified, this amount will be displayed in the Sales Order Entry screen. If [Total amount sold] of the sales order + [Balance of accounts receivable] exceeds this amount specified here, alert is displayed. (The warning will not be displayed at the time of CSV import.) Please specify the amount in the currency specified as the [Transaction currency]. Numeric Value Input Optional
    Collection cycle 1 (after x days) [Scheduled collection date] of the Invoice List screen is determined by the cycle set by this parameter or [Collection cycle 2 (after x months)] and [Collection cycle 2 (after x days)] when the Invoice for this customer is issued. Integer Value Input Optional
    Collection cycle 2 (after x months) Please specify the number of months allowed before the amount sold is to be collected. This parameter is used together with [Collection cycle 2 (after x days)]. If [Collection cycle 1 (after x days)] is specified, this parameter will be ignored. Integer Value Input Optional
    Collection cycle 2 (after x days) Please specify the day of the month (in number form) on which the amount sold is to be collected. On the day set by this parameter after the number of months specified by the [Collection cycle 2 (after x months)], the payment is to be made. 31 indicates the end day of the month. If [Collection cycle 1 (after x days)] is specified, this parameter will be ignored. Integer Value Input Optional
    Standard lead time This is used as the default lead time. Display Only Optional
    Delivery location This is the default location to be specified for this supplier. Specified location will be chosen as the default location for the items supplied by this supplier to be delivered. Text Input Optional

    Payment cycle 1 (after x days) [Scheduled payment date] of each subcontract order will be determined by the cycle set by this parameter or [Payment cycle 2 (after x months)] and [Payment cycle 2 (after x days)] when the invoice for this customer is issued. Integer Value Input Optional

    [List Screen] Section
    New When new line is inserted, the arrow icon will be displayed to highlight the line. Icon (link) Optional
    Detail By clicking this icon, detail of the entry can be displayed. Icon (link) Optional
    Copy If this icon is clicked, the information entered in the clicked line will be copied into the new entry screen. Icon (link) Optional
    Select By clicking this box, the line can be selected. Check Box Optional
    Delete If this button is clicked after selecting the lines, the the lines selected will be deleted. Check Box Optional
