Department Master

All information relating to departments in your company are to be defined here. The defined department can be specified in the [Sales Order Entry] screen etc. Once a department is specified for each transation, this will appear in the report screen which is a useful tool for analysing the Sales Status. Each staff defined in the [Staff Master] can be organized under the department defined here.

[Department Master] Screen Parameters

Parameter Description Input Method Mandatory
[New/Modify (Header)] Section
Dept. code This is the unique code assigned for each department. This code will be used throughout GENESISS to identify the department. If this field appears in the VIEW OPTION, it means that this parameter can be used to filter records. Text Input Mandatory
Department name Name of each department can be defined here. This name does not have to be unique throughout GENESISS. Text Input Mandatory
Department remarks Any remarks specific to this department can be registered here. Text Input Optional
[List Screen] Section
New When new line is inserted, the arrow icon will be displayed to highlight the line. Icon (link) Optional
Detail By clicking this icon, detail of the entry can be displayed. Icon (link) Optional
Copy If this icon is clicked, the information entered in the clicked line will be copied into the new entry screen. Icon (link) Optional
Delete If this button is clicked after selecting the lines, the the lines selected will be deleted. Check Box Optional
Dept. code Displays [Dept. code] of this entry. Display Only Optional
Department name Displays [Department name] of this entry. Display Only Optional
Department remarks Displays [Department remarks] of this entry. Display Only Optional
File If any files are attached with this entry, displays yes. Display Only Optional
Registration date Displays the date on which this entry was registered. Display Only Optional
Registered by Displays the user by whom this entry was registered. Display Only Optional
Last update date Displays the date on which this entry was updated last time. Display Only Optional
Last updated by Displays the user by whom this entry was updated last time. Display Only Optional
[View Option] Section
View option preset Customized VIEW OPTION settings can be saved and reused. Click on the icon in the right to save the filter setting. Dropdown List Optional
Dept. code It is possible to filter records by the [Dept. code]. Text Input Optional
Department name It is possible to filter records by the [Department name]. Text Input Optional
